This Winchester manufactured late variation receiver designed to hold the ejector with the retainer and screw towards the front of the receiver rather than the retainer pin at the rear of the receiver is for the later model 1400 semi-auto shotgun in 12 gauge only and is factory drilled & tapped for scope mounting. This receiver is in very good condition retaining most of its original blue finish with light wear and handling marks. This is the only part on the model 1400 shotgun that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through an FFL dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photos)
